TestCompanion helps developers test the code even before it is written. Going by the principles of the Extreme Programming, test driven development involves writing a test case and then implementing only the code which is required to pass the test.

Test Driven Development is virtually impossible without the use of a testing framework. TestCompanion assists the developers in churning out a well-tested code and in effect is responsible for well designed software.

TestCompanion allows the development of test cases once a class level design has been created. During development once the appropriate methods are being defined, test cases can be developed in parallel to assist the developers to improve the quality of the code just-in-time. In essence, until all the test cases passes the developer would not be able to complete the task/code being developed.
